Sophisticated Stitches
Sophisticated Stitches is a book of 66 line drawings that are intended to be used as designs for quilting, embroidery, Sashiko, and other mediums. Tips are given on how to break these 66 drawings down into components and then combining the components to create new designs. Using this technique, the reader should be able to easily create well over 120 designs. The reader is only limited by their imagination as to design creation. Guidelines are given on how to determine the stitching direction and how to stitch the designs in a continuous fashion. Also included in the book is a tip on how to transfer designs from a piece of paper to the quilt top in an easy repeatable process.
